Auditions for Playfest 2024 are happening Dec 4th! Read below for more information:


Auditions for Playfest 2024 will be held on Monday, December 4th in the Little Center Theatre from 6-9 pm.  Please sign up for a slot at the link below and pick one or two excerpts from the sides (attached).

There are over 20 roles available!  

 

You will be auditioning for all three directors and playwrights at once.  Sometimes you might audition for one show, but you'll end up cast in something else.  You probably will be paired up with another actor auditioning for another play.  Be prepared to stick around for a while (don’t worry, it’s a fun audition and it always works out) 

 

We’ll have printed copies of the sides at the auditions.  This year, we are producing 3 plays: 

 

 Dreamballs by Honey Snyder, directed by Nat Solomon

 

 The Road Trip by Megan Engstrom, directed by Elizabeth Zinno           

          

Poison on Palatine Station by Rosie Cohen, directed by April Chronowski

 

Performance Dates:  March 14 through the 24th.  Rehearsals will begin in January (although we may do a read thru before the end of fall semester).  

Audition time slots are 5 minutes long and you may be paired up with other auditioners to run a few scenes. Please plan to arrive 5 minutes early for your time slot and be prepared to be in the audition for approximately 10 minutes total.
